Newington Nursery is situated in the heart of the Newington/Grange area of South Edinburgh and offers exceptional pre-school childcare.
Based in Mayfield Salisbury Church, it is bright and spacious with a free flow between the playroom and dedicated mature gardens; a place to ignite a child’s imagination.

Enrolment
The nursery is a Partner Provider with Edinburgh City Council (since January 2000) with children being eligible for funding from the term after their third birthday. We offer daily sessions during term time, with places available for children aged 3-5 years. We can apply for your child's funded hours on your behalf with our term time calendar providing the full 1140 hours entitlement. Part time places are considered on an individual basis. 1140hrs funding: Monday to Friday 8.15am-2.30pm
(including daily breakfast and morning snack; families provide a packed lunch)
Morning only hours 9am-12.30pm.
Community
Newington nursery is a community nursery run by a parent board of trustees. We welcome our families to get involved in any way they can within our community whether that be playing piano, volunteering on trips, helping with fundraising activities or taking a position on our board.
